Wherever possible we use local suppliers.  Listed below are some of our suppliers and their stories:

Bonaly Farm Dairy

Bonaly is situated just down the road from us here at Damhead and supplies all our milk and cream. It is a long esablished family business and takes great pride in providing a reliable service of fresh milk to many of Edinburgh's most successful shops and restaurants.

Peelham Farm

Peelham  Farm in the Scottish Borders supplies all our pork, beef and lamb. They have been given numerous awards for the quality of their produce and make the best sausages we've ever tasted!

Brewsters

 Brewsters supplies our chicken for the farm shop, our eggs and of course turkeys at Christmas time. They are a relatively new enterprise based at Jamesfield Organic Farm in Fife.

Garvald Bakery

Garvald Bakery in Gorgie is a not for profit organisation run on principles set down by Rudolf Steiner. The Bakery employs adults with learning difficulties and has been the subject of an award winning documentary film. There is always a cheery welcome from all the bakers when we arrive to collect our daily order of breads, cakes and biscuits.

Lavender's Green

Lavender's Green is a fabulous new soap making company started by two young Mums who both had family members that suffered from eczema and psoriasis. They have created a range of hand made soaps, shampoos and toiletries containing only natural ingredients and no preservatives. They look and smell great and best of all they really work!
