University Student Box Scheme

We've joined forces with Edinburgh University Students Association (EUSA) ,Heriot-Watt University Students Association (HWUSA) ) to offer students studying in Edinburgh a discount on our organic box scheme.

Most students live in the city centre and don't have car. This means they pay over the odds for veg. The average student signing up to this scheme will save around £350 a year. Going green really does save money. Adam Ramsay, EUSA President

As a student in Edinburgh, you can register free (saving £5) and you'll receive 10% discount on all organic boxes and groceries ordered online. We deliver all boxes free of charge.

What is the Box Scheme?

At Damhead Farm, we grow a range of organic produce throughout the year. We also buy-in fresh organic fruit and veg on a weekly basis with an emphasis on buying as close to home as possible.

You can choose an organic box which best suits your needs. There are nine different boxes to choose from, see Box Scheme. Then just place your order!  Your box can be ordered for weekly or fortnightly delivery.

The benefit of the scheme is that the cost of your fruit and vegetables is fixed, making your student budget that bit easier to balance. And we deliver to your door at no extra charge.

For a student flat, where you're all sharing the costs, our Family Box is perfect. You'll find 8 to 12 items of vegetables and 4 to 7 items of fruit. There are other boxes available.
